MOSCOW, Apr 30 (PRIME) -- The net loss of Russia’s largest truck producer Kamaz widened tenfold on the year to 2.145 billion rubles in January–March, as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), the company said in a report on Tuesday.
Revenue shrank by 6.4% on the year to 25.532 billion rubles in the period. The sales loss amounted to 3.723 billion rubles against a 155.136 million ruble sales profit in the same period of 2018.
Gross loss amounted to 1.123 billion rubles against a 2.433 billion ruble gross profit in the same period of 2018. The pretax loss widened almost 13 times to 2.816 billion rubles.
Long-term liabilities of Kamaz grew to 68.121 billion rubles as of March 31 from 58.342 billion rubles as of the end of 2018, while short-term liabilities fell to 65.117 billion rubles from 77.636 billion rubles.
